Effective November 1st we will be converting to a new core data processing system. We use this system to maintain all member accounts, loans and process all member transactions, as well as, handle all accounting and operational functions for the credit union. This core system is the center of all our credit union functions. Our current system has worked great for us since the 80’s but with current technologies growing more advanced, now’s a great time to make the switch to a new system.
Any new Data Processing conversion can be challenging and unfortunately we could experience a few bumps in the road. We are working very hard to minimize the impact this transition will have to you, our loyal members. With this new system, we are hopeful that we can better serve our member’s needs. We realize this process brings up questions and we are happy to answer all questions you might have.
What is the date of the conversion? The Data Processing conversion will start at the close of business on Friday, October 28ᵗʰ and will run through Monday, October 31ˢᵗ. Members Trust will be closed on Monday, October 31ˢᵗ to complete the conversion and reopen for business on Tuesday, November 1ˢᵗ.
Is my personal data still safe and secure? Yes! Your personal data and account information are safe and secure, as always. Your funds also remain secure at Members Trust Federal Credit Union. All accounts will continue to be insured by NCUA (the National Credit Union Administration) for up to $250,000 per account.
Will my member / account number change? No. Your member number will remain the same.
We realize you might have many questions about this conversion. We encourage you to contact us via telephone or you can always reach us through email or social media. If you haven’t done so already, be sure to like us on Facebook to stay up to date on everything happening at Members Trust as well as some freebies!
